Welcome To Katon Siberians

OK, you found me! Thank you for visiting Katon Siberians. For easy surfing I recommend that you use the Site Map link or if you wish the links below. I have been involved with Siberians since I got my first one in 1981. I got my first show Siberian Husky in 1991 from Huricane Kennels. Katon is a small kennel and I only occasionally breed when I feel the pedigree is right to produce quality show dogs or if I need a puppy fix. Currently, I have Siberian Huskies and one very spoiled Akita that I got from my good friend at Timbersky Kennels. I have been a member of the Siberian Husky Club of America since 2001 and a member of the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Kansas City since 1999. I have competed in conformation as well as obedience. Siberian Huskies are not for everyone and I encourage everyone that is considering this breed to be well versed on the breeds bad habits and loveable traits. Katon Siberian Huskies urges you to visit the website for the Siberian Husky Club of America. It can be found at www.shca.org. As you look through my web site, you will notice that I don't encourage anyone to get a Siberian Husky without a complete knowledge of their personalities. Many people think that just because they are a beautiful breed (and they are), that they would make a great pet for anyone. As you read further I believe you will understand why that's not exactly true. I hope you enjoy my web site. Please contact me with any comments or questions. E-mail Kathy Jordan.
